What is the difference between a blog a feeder blog and splogs?

Blogs have become quite popular, and when something becomes popular it will allways been forks or ways to tweak this to gain more traffic to you’re main source.
It seems though that lots of people just can’t differ between the phrases thrown out on the web, so i will take some time to try to explain what these different blogs actually are, and how you can benefit from them.

A blog : From wikipedia : A blog (short for web log) is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order.

When you tell someone you have a blog, most people refer to a blog as you’re main blog, or to you’re own personal blog ehere they can find interesting articles and often updated handwritten posts. That is the thing about a blog…handwritten (as in, you write it), and originallity is two things that should be present at a blog. You certainly allso want to sell something, so put up some ad’s that fit good in you’re blog’s design and allso use some links and tools in the posts, that can make them even more interesting. You’re main blog should have their own domain, or atleast, their own subdomain at a paid host and from you’re own paid domain.

Let’s take a look at feeder blogs: IMO (There can be others defining it other ways) a feeder blog is a micro niche blog wich you use to feed your main blog. It consist of textrich posts (either made by you, good descriptions from sponsor galleries or small parts of free text for you to use—it can be found some at cozyacademy.com), where the pictures should be small, and you apply a link to you’r mainblog in every post. It is neither overfilled with ads, but have hundreds of links to hardlinktrades, directories, linklists and toplists (+ others if you may find them) wich you trade with.

The main purpose of a feeder blog is to feed your mainblog.

So, what is a splog? : splog = spam blog.
IMO it consist mainly of ads and a rss feed from one or more sponsors. No handwritten articles, no informational at any way, just plain spam.

It’s not too easy to find a splog, cuz it will not show up in high places on SE’s and it will not have gross of links to it from other sites.

It lays mainly there to try to sell to the few that find it, or to feed a feeder blog of yours.

I hope this was of some kind of informational for you.

If you want to ask more questions about blogs, i advice you to look at Cozycampus.

How often do you check you’re stats at the sponsors? Do you take any action if the stats are bad? Do you know how you’re sponsor are counting you’re stats? These are questions you should have answers to, because many newcomers think they have killer ratios when the sponsor are counting only join page hits. What does it mean? Simple…the sponsor do not show you how many clicks you send from you’re page/site to them, but they show you how many actually click through to the join page at the paysite. That is an easy way for the sponsor to “trick” you to belive that you are doing wery well, and you will continue to send traffic to them.

sponsor ratios

An easy way to find out this is to hit the sponsor up on icq or send them a mail and ask them how they count the hits. If they are sincere and answer, then no problem, but some major sponsors never answers and some are even laying to you to try to keep you their affiliate.
The harder way to find it out is to find a sponsor you know are counting 1.st page hits, and compare them to the sponsor that you are wondering about.
This issue might not be too important, but it is hard to understand what brings you most when 1 sponsor counting 1.st page hits, another 2.nd page hits, the third only join page hits and the fourth even not show you all the join page hits as well.
Just know that there are huge differences in how sponsors are counting you’re hits, and do not be afraid to drop a sponsor if you think something fishy is going on.

Many newbies in the adult biz wonder where to start, and what path they should choose to obtain those quickly earned millions they’ve heard so much about. There are no such thing as easy money, and in my opinion there never will be again!

My best advice to all newbies that are just starting out is to start easy with a free hosted blog. You can choose between services like www.thumblogger.com , www.blogbugs.org or www.sensualwriter.com
After a while writing in the blog, you should submit that blog to directories, and try to obtain a few linktrades. I guess 50% will give up before they have 20 posts written down in their blogs.

But back to the main question. Freesites or galleries? Well, i think that freesites and galleries goes hand in hand. If you start out by building galleries, then build it so you get 2 galleries of the same series of pic, then you easily can build a warningpage and a mainsite over those two galleries, and submit the freesite to Link Lists.
The other way around, if you starting out by building freesites, then build the gallery pages so they are within the rules of most TGP’s and submit the galleries to the TGP’s.
That way you will minimize the amount of free porn online, and you will allso limit the space on you’re server.

Some might say that you will be giving away too much free porn if you build the galleries on the freesites to match with TGP rules, but hey!, those building 4 galleries for one freesite are actually giving away 20-30 more photos than you do, so tell them to go lay a dump!

That is one repedetely asked question nowadays if there really are money to be made by build and submitting TGP galleries to places known for high loads of crappy traffic of freeloaders and different cheaters.

My pure answer to this question is yes, there still are money to be made by submitting you’re galleries to TGP’s. But, you have to use time to figure out what works for you, and remember that instant high load of traffic allmost over night not allways means that any of it will convert into sales. High traffic load with no sales will leave you with a high bandwith bill and a gross feeling of why you have all this traffic and can’t use it for anything.

I am not going to explain how to build a gallery, neither how to achieve traffic to that gallery, but i will explain how you are going to make most out of less time over time.
After you’re gallery are built, submit it to TGP’s. If you have a fast internet connection, you could purchase a auto submitter that will blast you’re galleries out to  hundreds of small TGP’s. In my opinion Chameleon submitter is still the best tool to use when we talk about auto submitters. If you have a slowly internet connection, build you’rself a database with the best TGP’s and don’t use you’re whole day by waiting on a autosubmitter to be done with his task. Advanced Submitter is a great tool to build a database, and you can allso use it for other purposes than TGP submitting.

You can allso buy a few submitpasses from bigger, more reputable TGP’s, but i do not recommend to do this until you have fine tuned you’re galleries, and know that what you build will convert to sales.
After you are done submitting, you allso want to submit you’re gallery to places like linkdumps and surfer forums. After you have done that, you want to implement the gallery to you’re own site, so either write a blogpost about it, list it on you’re (fake TGP) or by other means just get it up on you’re site so you can get sure the surfer on you’re site have a possibility to find it.
